    Our Pastor

   Our Pastor Bro. Stacy Penland was born in Ashville, NC. to Mr. & Mrs. Edward Penland, but was       raised in Burnsville, NC. He was saved at the age of 21 at Sullins Branch Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC. where Bro. Luther Spivey was the Pastor. Bro. Stacy surrendered to the Lords call to preach the Gospel on October, 18^th 1995.

·        February 1999-Graduated with a Bachelors  Degree in Theology from West Lenior School Of Ministry.

·        April 1999- Ordained to Preach.

·        November 12, 2006 - Our Pastor Bro. Stacy Penland through the leadership of GOD established Greater Vision Baptist Church.

    Pastor’s  Family

  Bro. Stacy Penland married Tonya Spivey the daughter of Dr. Luther & Nancy Spivey on July 2, 1994.  Tonya was saved on March 28, 1981 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Alexander, NC.  On July 5, 1997 Bro. Stacy & Tonya had their first child, Kalie Hodaya Penland.  She was born in Ashville, NC.  Their son, Titus Ezekiel Penland was born on January 18, 2001 in Macon, GA.

  God has blessed our pastor’s family.  Tonya and the children are very active in the church.  They have been singing in the church ever since the children were able to sing.  Tonya is the church pianist.  She also helps Bro. Stacy with the youth of the church and prepared a wonderful Christmas play for the community to come and enjoy. Kalie and Titus are saved and serving the Lord in many areas of the church.
